Jewellery Care
Please follow these tips to maintain the quality of your jewellery:
- Store your jewellery in soft pouches or inside its original case when you’re not wearing it.
- Avoid sweat
- Wipe regularly with a soft cloth
- Do not sleep in your jewellery
- Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, such as chlorine or bleach
- Remove your jewellery before you take a bath, shower or wash your hands
- If your 925 Sterling Silver jewellery oxidises, you can easily get rid
of the dark marks and tarnish with a polish cloth - Sterling silver must be kept away from agents which can cause contamination such as perfume, sulphur, chlorine and hairspray
How to clean Cubic Zirconia Jewellery:
To Clean Cubic Zirconia we recommend the following method:
- Mix warm water with mild dish detergent (one part detergent, two parts water)
- Dip the jewellery briefly to get it wet and then scrub your cubic zirconia with a soft-bristle toothbrush.
- Rinse your cubic zirconia completely. It's important not to leave any soap residue on cubic zirconia.
- Use a clean cloth to gently dab the Cubic Zirconia dry. Keep dabbing until there is no moisture left on the Jewellery
For Gold-Plated Jewellery:
- Avoid direct contact with water, perfume, lotions, shampoo, chlorine, salt water to prevent tarnishing. High ph acid levels in skin will strip plating.
- Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, exercising, sleeping. Plating will fade over time or tarnish and longevity depends on how the jewellery is cared for.
- Clean jewellery periodically by wiping with a soft lint free cloth.
